I grew up in Piscataway on 12th Street before this park was created. The old run down building is thankfully gone and its very welcoming. Lovely job! I miss living there.
Anyway, I highly recomend this park though for anyone looking to do a nice picnic. Go down by the waterfall or overflow Damn. The town really takes pride in that area and the landscaping is sharp. Great for pics.
this is very good place to take the photos and video outdoor shoot... I had to event photos on this place, it came really good.
Small park but it is kept clean and new features are being added, like just recently added boat lunch point for canoes
Nice place to spend some time with family and friends. Fountain adds more beauty to pond, so can take some good photos.
This park and pond are such an awesome place for me to come and unwind. Even though there is the occasional interrupting train horn blown to alert bozos who stop on the train tracks once in a while, other than that it is very peaceful and serene. Also while you can't eat the fish caught in this lake, there is pretty good fishing. I used to bring my girlfriend here at night and we'd catch cat fish for hours. Unfortunately though, Harris Steel over the years has polluted the ground thereby letting nasty chemicals leech into the soil and subsequently the fish. They do have plenty of signs posted everywhere though, DO NOT EAT ANY FISH CAUGHT HERE! IF anyone does read this too, please if your walking the great little path Piscataway Township put around the lake, while walking don't be afraid to pick up trash you see. It's a sad state of affairs the youth of today so carelessly litter everywhere and everyday with no reespect or concern. If even 2 ppl did this along with me daily, the whole park would sparkle. Mainly it's the stretch closets to the Gazebo by the boat launch. Being so close to the road anything flung out Simoes window can potentially end up on the park grounds.
