Very modern rooms. There are no microwave, refrigerator or ironing materials in the room. However, there is a microwave in the laundry room, along with ice and vending machines. The room was very clean. Not even dust. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Room was awesomely clean. Would give 5 stars but as a solo female traveler I was nervous about having a room that opened onto the parking lot in the back. Handicapped shower facilities in room were excellent.
I was pleasantly surprised by my motel 6 stay. I had never stayed in a motel 6 and had a some what sleazy view of them. I had my one year old puppy with me and needed a pet safe hotel and motel 6 had amazing prices and was pet friendly, so I figured; why not? I'm so glad I did!!! I LOVED the room and will be staying there again. It was exactly as shown in the website photos, and was much more than I expected given the low price.There was a faux wood floor that allowed for easy clean up, especially for a puppy that's a messy eater/drinker. This was my first trip with my pup and I was worried she would bark and annoy others. The front desk assured me it would be fine and took down my cell phone number incase anyone complained. I was so relieved, I could attend my friends wedding and if my pup started acting up due to the strange environment, they would call. My pup was fine and the wedding was beautiful. The motel's location was close to pretty much everything as well. Thanks again!!
It was a Motel 6... You can't expect a Marriott. The room was clean enough, but did have a slight smell of someone smoking in it (it was a non-smoking room). It seemed like they tried to mask the smell, but it still lingered. The bed was very firm. It was about a 45 minute drive to NYC. We were able to request an extra blanket and hair dryer without issue from the front desk. There was plenty of parking.
Hadn't stayed at Motel 6 chain for a couple of years prior to this trip. Nicely surprised by the quality changes I found at 2 different locations. The front desk staff was very courteous and efficient and was able to accommodate a last minute change in my room. Accommodations were neat and clean enough that I felt comfortable walking around the room without shoes. I especially appreciate Motel 6's pet friendly policy. Would recommend that all rooms be "feline proofed" my younger cat was able to find enough space to access the area inside the box that partially supports the beds. She came out quickly after investigating but other guest's cats might not be so willing. Thanks for a pleasant stay.
